Disciplinary Action with Ernest Ellender, PhD

The Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (LSBEP) takes disciplinary actions against potential ethical violations of licensed Louisiana psychologists in the interest of protecting citizens from unethical or incompetent clinicians.

Each case can take years to investigate and complete before a just settlement is achieved. On August 26, 2022, Ernest C. Ellender, Ph.D., License No. 1159, entered a Stipulation and Agreement for Surrender of Psychologist License for a two-year time span.

 

Due to the cost of such investigations, Dr. Ellender agreed to the temporary surrender of his license until he could secure funding to proceed with the investigation.
